Why acting? 

Our acting classes offered at SAFATA provides students with various of opportunities and learning experiences.

At SAFATA, we make it our aim to build students, to grow and enhance them and to take them above boarders and beyond measures. Pushing boundaries and pushing limits. 

Our acting classes are group classes, led by our qualified and experienced mentors. Occasionally we welcome guest celebrity mentors and industry professionals, such as Samuel L Jackson & Helen Mirren for extensive in-class workshops. These workshops are presented through means of in-class online video tutoring in proud associations with Masterclass. Through these people, our students will get valuable insight from industry professional, not only to improve their acting capabilities but also learn how to take it further. 

Our Acting Classes offers internationally accredited Diploma's and Certificates in proud association with  LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts).

  • No formal requirements are necessary for Part-Time Courses

  • Minimum Age requirement for Part-Time Courses is 11 years 

  • Proficient in English and ability to read and write in English

Full-Time Programs, 

  • Student must be older than 18 years and must have a National Senior Certificate / Matric

  • Exemption can be applied for students without a Matric.

It's our Academy’s hands-on approach and the attention to the application of acting skills to performing in front of the camera that make the Academy different from the rest. School of Acting offers students the tools the require to build the necessary acting skills. Our Acting course is mostly designed to cater for students wishing to do acting for Film and Television. Our acting courses are open to anyone from the age of 11 years old.

Materials to stay ahead

​A list of prescribed mandatory books will be given to students which they require for classes. These books students can buy themselves or order it through the school.

Qualifications Offered:

  • International Diploma's in Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3 (Graded 1 - 8) 

Assessments & Criteria

Students will undergo a evaluations every semester internally. Written exams will also be written for Full-Time Students.

Three times a year, students will undergo their international assessments with LAMDA and Trinity on the graded level diploma that the mentor has enrolled the student in. .
